City Of Richmond Collective Agreement

The agreement, which covers the period from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2023, provides that unionized city employees will receive wage increases of 9.25 percent over four years – 2.00 percent in 2020; 2.25% in 2021; 2.50 per cent in 2022 and 2023. Richmond City Council has approved a new four-year collective agreement with Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Locals 718 and 394, which represent the city`s internal and external workers. CupE Locals 718 and 394 ratified the agreement with its members on 27 and 19 February respectively. Other points agreed in the collective agreement, such as improved health services, vacation structures and training, will strengthen staff, improve engagement and engagement, and generate efficiencies across the city.
